Here I am in the Cascade Mountains with my new Wilderness Tsunami kayak. Ready to conquer all of Washington, lake by lake, stream by stream, waterfall by waterfall....arrrrgghhhhhhh
Very nice job!! You have some beautiful pictures and I look forward to seeing more of them. Once you set up your flickr account, managing the pictures might be a little easier. I will check back often!!
I was born the 4th of 5 children to Mary and Pete, in a small town near Chicago, Illinos; in the good old days. When I was 8, we moved to Maryland, and experienced East Coast living. Wow. Not the Midwest. Then an even bigger move to San Diego, California, at age 15, when I asked if we might someday vacation to Hawaii; since we would be so close. Yeah right. Those memorable college years were at UC Davis, Ca. where I met my husband, we are now married 30 years. We plan on that trip to Hawaii this year, a first for both of us. Our 3 kids are all grown up, ages 20, 21 and 23. They keep wondering when I will stop mothering them.
Most of our married life we lived in Corona, California, land of heat, palms, people, and smog.
Well in 2001 we pulled up stakes and moved to Seattle, Washington. Our teen aged kids thought we were insane, as they thought nothing could top life as they knew it.
Well there's no denying what a good move we made. Washington is heaven on earth.
